MARCH 2026

The East Tower at Garden Towers has now reached Level 36, the final level in this building, and the future home to your rooftop amenities. With this milestone reached, we are expecting the East and West Tower structures to be completed by mid-April.

Progress is also being made on the northern elevation public art installation by Stuart Green.

JANUARY 2026

Construction staff are back in full force after the holidays, with over 350 staff working on getting this project completed. Both towers at Garden Towers continue to steadily increase, with the Eastern Tower now reaching Level 33, and the Western Tower up to Level 20.

DECEMBER 2025

Over the course of the year, 45 floors across the two towers have been constructed. The Eastern Tower now reaches Level 31, and the Western Tower is up to Level 18. Finishing works are now well advanced, with apartments completed in the Eastern Tower up to Level 13 and in the Western Tower up to Level 4.

NOVEMBER 2025

Both towers at Garden Towers continue to steadily increase, with the eastern tower now reaching level 27 and the western tower up to level 15. The development is now becoming a noticeable feature of the city skyline.

SEPTEMBER 2025

Both towers at Garden Towers are progressing strongly, with the eastern tower now reaching level 24 and the western tower up to level 11. The podium façade is also taking shape, with scaffolding and protection recently removed along Hay Street and DeVlamingh Avenue. This has revealed the feature brickwork, timber elements, and architectural detailing, which both enhance the local streetscape and pay tribute to the existing heritage-listed Materials Science Building.

JULY 2025

Construction progress has achieved a significant milestone in the last month with the completion of the podium. Now that the 6th floor slab is complete, attention has shifted to focus solely on the two towers, which are now rising steadily.

JUNE 2025

The Plain Street side of the structure has now reached Level 5 and the Level 1 apartments are now having walls erected.

Meanwhile, the east (De Vlamingh) tower continues upwards at a steady pace, now up to level 15 in structure.

APRIL 2025

The west structure is now up to level 3, with multiple concrete pours every week to keep the structure progress moving forward. Meanwhile, the east (De Vlamingh) tower continues upwards at a steady pace, now up to level 12 in structure. You can start to see this rising above surrounding buildings.

MARCH 2025

The structure on the eastern half of the site has now reached level 9, with the tower shape now taking form above the neighbourhood. On the western (Plain Street) side, the structure of the podium and carpark is up to level 2 and continues on schedule.

Apartments are now taking shape internally, with level 1 and 2 cabinetry and tiling underway.

JANUARY 2025

The structure on the eastern half of the site has now reached level 6, the top of the podium, where your new pool and residential amenities are contained. Completing the structure for this floor, including the pool, is the primary focus this month.

Meanwhile, on the western half of the site, the in-ground footings and raft slabs are nearing completion, ready for the ground floor concrete pour to occur in the coming days.

OCTOBER 2024

The eastern side of the site has now had the 1st floor slab installed with concrete poured to a majority of it. The structure will now continue rapidly upwards.

The western side of the site is seeing the removal of existing infrastructure by Western Power, which will allow piling to be completed and work to focus on the ground floor prior to the end of the year.

AUGUST 2024

Construction at Garden Towers has moved into the footings and ground floor structure component, with piling complete to the majority of the site.

Over the next few months this part of the building will continue above ground as the podium and above ground carparks come to life.
